Terms and Conditions for Membership<\/strong><\/h1>

Welcome to NCL Alumni Association<\/strong> (\u201cAssociation\u201d, \u201cwe\u201d, \u201cour\u201d, or \u201cus\u201d). These Terms and Conditions (\u201cTerms\u201d) govern your membership registration and use of our website nclalumniassociation.com<\/strong> (the \u201cSite\u201d). By registering as a member or using our Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.<\/p>

1. Eligibility for Membership<\/strong><\/h2>

  • Membership is open only to former students, researchers, faculty, or staff of [Institute\/Organization Name \u2013 e.g., CSIR-National Chemical Laboratory]<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li>

  • Applicants must provide accurate information during registration.<\/p><\/li>

  • The Association reserves the right to verify details and approve or reject membership applications.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    2. Membership Registration and Fees<\/strong><\/h2>

    • A one-time membership registration fee of \u20b95,000<\/strong> (Indian Rupees Five Thousand) is payable at the time of registration.<\/p><\/li>

    • The fee is non-refundable<\/strong> except in cases where the Association declines the membership application.<\/p><\/li>

    • Payment must be made through the authorized payment gateway available on the Site.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      3. Membership Benefits<\/strong><\/h2>

      • Access to the Alumni Member Directory<\/strong> (subject to approval).<\/p><\/li>

      • Participation in events, reunions, and networking opportunities organized by the Association.<\/p><\/li>

      • Access to newsletters, announcements, and updates.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        4. Approval of Membership<\/strong><\/h2>

        • All applications are subject to email verification<\/strong> and administrative approval<\/strong>.<\/p><\/li>

        • Membership shall be considered active only after approval by the Association.<\/p><\/li>

        • The Association reserves the right to revoke or suspend membership in case of misuse or violation of these Terms.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

          5. Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/h2>

          Members must:<\/p>

          • Provide accurate personal and professional details.<\/p><\/li>

          • Use the alumni platform for networking and professional purposes only.<\/p><\/li>

          • Not misuse contact information of other members.<\/p><\/li>

          • Not engage in abusive, defamatory, or unlawful activities within the alumni community.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

            6. Privacy & Data Protection<\/strong><\/h2>

            • We collect and store personal information for the purpose of alumni registration, communication, and event management.<\/p><\/li>

            • Member details may be displayed in the alumni directory (accessible only to approved members).<\/p><\/li>

            • We will not share your information with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.<\/p><\/li>

              7. Refund & Cancellation Policy<\/strong><\/h2>

              • Membership fees are non-refundable<\/strong> once the application is approved.<\/p><\/li>

              • If an application is rejected, the membership fee will be refunded to the applicant\u2019s original payment method within 7\u201314 working days.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                8. Website Use<\/strong><\/h2>

                • You agree not to misuse or attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit the Site.<\/p><\/li>

                • The Association is not liable for any technical issues, downtime, or loss of data.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                  9. Limitation of Liability<\/strong><\/h2>

                  • The Association shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Site or participation in alumni activities.<\/p><\/li>

                  • All activities, events, and networking are undertaken at your own risk.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                    10. Amendments<\/strong><\/h2>

                    • The Association reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.<\/p><\/li>

                    • Continued use of the Site and membership after changes implies acceptance of the updated Terms.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

                      11. Governing Law<\/strong><\/h2>
